Adding 46 new unique ships to the ship spawns, with each coming in three variants and for different factions, totalling in over 428 new ships added to the spawns!

Overview & Features:
This mod adds 46 new unique ships to the ship spawns, with each coming in three variants and for different factions, totalling in over 428 new ships added to the spawns! Ships come in different version, just like vanilla ships, and are fully integrated into the ship’s leveled lists – via script injection, to allow conflict free adding. I took the time to ask around various communities for their ship submissions and carefully recreated them all in Creation Kit.
I am open for suggestions and feedback! If you encounter any issues, please create a bug report on this page.

All ships work just like vanilla ones, they have an interior, can be boarded and captured. The only exception are the M-Class haulers, these cannot be boarded. The aim is to expand the collection of ships over times with even more design from you all, the great community of Starfield! If you’re interested in submitting your design, head over to the comment section and read the pinned comment at the top.
Bug fixes are prioritized over adding new ships.
Installation ・°˖✧
I recommend using a Mod Manager like MO2 or Vortex.
After installation, a new message will pop up, informing you of the process of adding the new ships to the spawns. Please wait until the second message pop-up before heading out!
If you install manually:
– Download and unpack the file
– Place DWN_CommunitySpaceshipExpansion – Main.ba2 and DWN_CommunitySpaceshipExpansion.esm into your Starfield/Data folder
– Start the game, head to the Creations menu and activate the mod under Load Order
Lite Version:
This is a lite version of the main mod, reducing the added ships from 425 to 132. This is intended for people who run into crashing issues using the full version. So far, it looks like the crashing is related to safe bloat and/or too many mods. I’ll still be investigating this further to find the root cause, but so far the lite version seems to work.
Please only use one main file at a time!
Ship Vendor Framework:
The main file simply adds all the new ships to the game spawn pool, but not to any vendors. If you want to have them added to the vendors, download the optional file Community Spaceship Expansion – Buyable Ships. Make sure you have Ship Vendor Framework installed too and that SVF loads before both these files. A-Class ships are available at level 1, B-Class at level 21 and C-Class at level 41.
A selection of ships have been added to the following vendors:
– New Atlantis Ship Services – Selection of Deimos and Nova ships
– New Homestead Ship Services – Selection of Nova ships
– Deimos Staryard – Selection of Deimos ships
– Akila City Ship Services – Selection of HopeTech and Stroud-Eklund ships
– Neon City Ship Services – Selection of all manufacturers
– HopeTown Ship Services – Selection of HopeTech ships
– The Key – Crimson Fleet ships
Compatibility:
All ships are added via script injection into the leveled lists, to avoid any conflicts! This means mods such as Starfield Fleet Expansions are fully compatible.
