Starfield Modders Preparing for a Diverse Mod Community
As anticipation for Starfield builds, the Bethesda modding community is gearing up for an exciting new era of content creation.
As Starfield’s release draws closer, Bethesda’s vibrant modding community is bracing itself for a new wave of creators and the inevitable flood of Starfield mods.
The renowned mod-hosting platform, Starfieldmodhub.com, has already inaugurated its Starfield mod website. While the mod reservoir remains dry for now, visitors can find a treasure trove of resources designed for budding modders. This includes links to buzzing Discord channels, informative forums, and foundational wikis already setting the stage for ambitious mod undertakings.
The community has also flagged an event named C3, short for Community Creations Con. Slated for February 2024, this two-day virtual event will not only support the Make-A-Wish Foundation but also serve as a melting pot for modders, mod enthusiasts, and those curious about dipping their toes in mod creation. The event, initially planned for September 2, was pushed back to avoid clashing with Starfield’s Early Access launch.
One initiative garnering attention is the Starfield Community Patch project. Those familiar with Bethesda’s past titles might recall community-driven patches like the Unofficial Skyrim Patch or the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch, which amalgamate numerous community-derived bug fixes. Even though Microsoft has expressed confidence in Starfield’s refined bug profile, the community stands prepared to step in and polish any rough edges they encounter.
