Pay Bounties – Console BAT File
A Console command batch file to pay off all major faction bounty. Credits withdrawn from inventory, just like using the bounty machine.
Assembled this for myself, for emergency use only, at a time I couldn’t realistically get to a bounty machine without getting nabbed by the cops. It simply pays off major faction bounties using Credits in your inventory, so not free, just as if you went to the bounty machine. So be careful if you somehow racked up an insanely high bounty, this isn’t free and will take your Credits.
As of right now, this can pay off: Crimson Fleet, Freestar Collective, Freestar Rangers, House Va’ruun, Ryujin, Trade Authority, United Colonies, Xenofresh Corp, and Red Mile. This should cover everything. I don’t know how many of those are needed, I simply assembled all the Faction ID’s I could find. In the future, will update if someone finds another obscure one and the Faction ID can be found.
Instructions:
This is a .txt file you put in your game folder where the game .exe is located. There is a different location for Steam versus the Microsoft Store/Gamepass version. I have the Microsoft Store version, so it is located in C:\XboxGames\Starfield\Content. The Steam version should be wherever you installed it, probably something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Starfield.
Usage:
In game, pull up the console with the ~ key, called the tilde key, on English keyboards at least. This can disable achievments till you save and reload if you don’t use the Achievement Enabler addon. Then type “bat paybounty” without the quotation marks, hit enter, exit console back into game.
